yesterdae,ive missed the steamboat organised by the sec 4s but i did njoy myself at the youth rally..for the 1st tym,the whole 33 catholic church in sg gathered all the sec3 classes in the expo to celebrate the archdiocesan youth day..there r abt 3000 youths who sat down in the expo hall..all of us got to celebrate this 07.07.07 event together as 1 church..im sure tt all of us enjoyed our tym there as we had the chance to get up frm our seats,walked to the big empty space n started jumping arnd,praising the Holy Trinity..there's also a comical drama of Jonah n the fish which made us laugh out loud..can u imagine God dancing hip hop,dressed up as a Mexican n even listening to Indian songs..it was really funny..n when the big fish appears,large plastic balls n even the big fish itself r thrown to the audience..after God has talked to Jonah in the big fish,there's an announcement frm the pilot to fasten up his seat belt n it said,"..thk u for journeying with us n we hope NEVER to c u again." ^0^ v
Fr Nicholas Chia,the archbishop,was gave a speech n also celebrate the event with us..Sister Margaret gives the most touching speech i have ever heard..she has suffered n being tortured by others n also her own father..she even tried to commit suicide when she was young..not only once or twice but evryday..and now,she's blessed by God and she's willing to give her life serving God to help those who had suffered just lyk herself..i admired her perseverance n her will to serve God..
Also,i love the t-shirt tt's given to us..the design's nice n it's cool..anyway,there's also a video on world youth day(wyd)..next year's wyd will n held in australia,syd..b4 the day itself,the Pope has entrusted the icon of Mother Mary n the cross to the youths..they will journey through the sea,roads n even mountains in Australia..i think tt this will b a great n fun event..n how i wish i could b there..can u imagine 4++million youths frm all over the world gather at 1 place to celebrate this magnificent event??i'm sure tt it'll b fantastic!! =D
